Ryan is an associate at Polley Faith and is building a broad litigation practice.
Prior to joining Polley Faith, Ryan was Litigation Counsel at the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, where he investigated and prosecuted securities offences such as fraud, insider trading, market manipulation, misleading disclosure, compliance failures, and breach of Commission orders. As a litigator, Ryan was involved in numerous high-profile hearings and is experienced in securities and administrative law. Ryan articled at the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission and previously summered in criminal defence and intellectual property. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ryan worked in software development.
Ryan completed the combined Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Engineering Science program at Western University, where he specialized in Software Engineering. During law school, Ryan volunteered as a caseworker at Western Law’s legal clinic, where he focused on criminal defence and civil disputes.
Ryan was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
